Physiolab C1 Clinical Compression Unit

A single solution for cooling, warming & compression.

Cooling, warming and contrast helps to accelerate soft tissue repair and recovery when applied at appropriate stages of the healing and recovery process.

The C1 allows you to select and set up an appropriate and effective therapy and tailor it to each patient’s needs. Metabolism, BMI, stage and rate of healing, type and severity of injury, age, pain threshold and fitness are just some of the factors to consider.

The C1 provides real time feedback and communication, meaning it not only responds to your patient’s physiological requirements, providing an effective treatment, but also provides an understanding of the state, condition and recovery speed of the treatment area.

Most methods using cold, heat and compression cannot be measured accurately, if at all. The result: the applied therapy may be of limited benefit or even detrimental. The C1 provides treatments which are accurate, reproducible, measurable and precisely controlled.

6°C: Low enough for effective deep tissue cooling without numbness or cold burns. 40°C: High enough for effective deep tissue warming without causing ulceration and heat burns.

Harry Ferguson

"I really believe the cooling, warming and compression made a big difference to the swelling. I had less
pain whilst flexing and extending my knee. Climbing the stairs also became easier."

19-year old Harry sustained a full thickness ACL tear and medial meniscus bucket handle tear to his right knee
when playing rugby. Following ACL reconstruction and meniscal repair surgery he was prescribed cryotherapy
and compression using the PHYSIOLAB® C1 to reduce swelling and oedema.

After the first day of treatment, swelling reduced by 1.3 cm and range of movement increased from 110 to 120
degrees, with full extension achieved for the first time.
