In order to fully understand the benefits of utilising our product in the hospital setting, we have conducted, and continue to run, clinical studies in partnership with medical bodies nationwide.
PATIENTS REPORT LESS PAIN & AVLOS IS REDUCED
We obtained data from a large UK private hospital group, who compared the impact of using PHYSIOLAB® for six months against their previous use of an alternate cryotherapy device. Out of 120 post-surgical patients examined, these were the results:
- Reduced AVLOS (an average 8 hour reduction in bedstay when utilising Physiolab)
- Decreased Pain Scores (notable decrease in pain-score and analgesia requirement)

The new Physiolab systems are working well. The new design of cuffs are good - easy to apply to the patient and patients seem to really like Physiolab. The device has its benefits of set time of specifically 8 degrees of cryotherapy, rather than using ice bags which melt at room temp. The patients can also set it themselves several times which gives them freedom in choice for cryotherapy.
