5The Physiolab cooling compression system has really added to the post op regime of my patients. Not only immediately after the operation (where it really reduces swelling and dramatically reduces the need for pain meds), but also in the rehab phase. I recommend that my patients use it at home for 4 weeks following their operation. Patients can use it multiple times a day, after exercises and therapy sessions, and it has been great at helping to reduce swelling and speed up their recovery. One of my patients managed to be two weeks ahead of normal rehab progress when using the Physiolab for his second knee replacement.
